BIOGRAPHY
Rania Toli is a jazz singer, composer, and educator from Greece. Her music blends jazz with sounds and stories from different parts of the world—especially her Mediterranean roots. Whether performing original work or reimagining classics, Rania brings a deep emotional presence and a love for storytelling through song.
She began her musical journey at age eight, first through classical piano and later through voice—where she discovered her deep connection to jazz. Though her path began unconventionally, first studying optometry and working various jobs, music always remained the undercurrent of her life. For over a decade, she performed as a session musician and fronted multiple bands, eventually gracing more than 500 stages worldwide.
Rania moved to Boston to pursue her passion fully, earning a degree from Berklee College of Music and currently completing her Master's in Jazz Performance at the New England Conservatory. Along the way, she has received awards for academic and musical excellence and has been recognized for her tireless work ethic, artistry, and collaborative spirit.
An active educator and community artist, Rania has taught and performed across various platforms.
Currently, Rania is working on her debut album featuring original compositions—a project that captures her personal voice and vision as an artist. Whether she’s arranging Greek boleros, singing Brazilian standards, or debuting her own songs, Rania invites audiences into a world where music is a language of memory, migration, and connection.
